and sector partners for a day of practical discussion on funding, growth, investability,
and the future of education in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
This year’s forum combined regional investment perspectives, operator experience, and
policy insight to create sharper, more useful conversations across the room.
Sudeep Laad of L.E.K. Consulting opened the forum with a regional view on capital flows, investor priorities, and the shifting education investment landscape across Southeast Asia.
Senior policy perspectives helped frame the discussion around regulation, international pathways, and the evolving environment for education operators and investors in Indonesia.
Sessions explored the real trade-offs behind pricing, capacity, new campuses, and product expansion, with practical perspectives from operators building across different education models and markets.
Sandeep Aneja of Kaizenvest joined a focused discussion on matching the right source of capital to the right education business, across K-12, higher education, and other education segments including edtech
The forum looked closely at unit economics, governance, reporting, and the operating discipline needed to build education businesses that are credible, scalable, and built to last.
Jaspal Sidhu of SIS Group of Schools closed the day with reflections on what makes education organisations truly investable over the long term, from leadership and trust to culture and execution.
